There are infrastructural and amenities for effective teaching and learning on site and online. The school has an established website (Website: http://luziibangi-lihs.ac.ug) and is working on establishing an e-learning platform.

Established and sanctioned curricula by the Ministry of Education and Sports for training nurses and midwives at certificate and Diploma levels

Relevant text books and teaching resources, and electronic library are in place. There are adequate LCD projectors & Screens, TV/Screens for teaching and learning, demonstrations, and assessments. The school has an ICT lab and a Skills/simulation laboratory. The school has designated areas for notice boards and suggestion box.

Lectures/tutors have prepared lesson plans and schemes of work. The time tables for the different programs are developed and will be shared in soft and hard copies with the students.

Training sites The school has a signed memorandum of understanding with Mityana General Hospital and is working on finalizing the MOU with Mubende Regional Referral Hospital for clinical teaching and instruction, practice and assessments.

LIHS has residence accommodation available, so please book early. At LIHS residences, food is provided by the school. Our residences are equipped with Dstv and other entertainment facilities to give students a balance between life and studies. These are provided on admission.


Recreation Facilities
We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities to enable students develop their talents and to maintain physical fitness. Facilities are available for volley ball, football, basketball, gardening and cookery. In-door games such as board games, Table tennis are available.
